- Beehives remain suspended after a tree is cut down. It is not always possible to hit them with the axe to remove them.
- There does not appear to be any way to automate smelting of copper.
- If you delete a work zone while the worker is on it they get trapped in “limbo” they do not move to the new zone (which I made prior to deleting the old one) and they remain “working” in the area which was the previous zone and so they cannot be assigned to the new zone. (I won’t make that mistake again, but, others might.)
- This may be because I am elderly, but I find the “click and hold” action makes playing very difficult, particularly early game when the player has to do a lot of production for themselves. Holding for any significant time, such as making 100 stone foundations, is enough to give me hand cramps and I have to stop playing for several hours. Would it be possible to have the option to double click to start the process and then click again to stop it? This could have the added benefit of always continuing up to completion of the current object.
- Are there any plans to add narrow pieces of roof tiles, or roof border tiles? Using full tiles, even on really large houses, to provide necessary overhang looks ridiculous. But, without overhang the house looks unfinished.
- The pillars and posts are too large and too widely spaced to use for stair rails and newel posts. Perhaps a stair variant with an integral handrail could be added to the existing options.
- Just a thought, but, why do most males have beards and why are nearly all the males are so darned ugly? Variety is the spice of life.
- Are there any plans for either a mini-map or a simple compass to help the player to navigate. It is really annoying to find that you are heading in the opposite direction to the one you thought you were going, especially if running for home before “light’s out”.
- A management screen would be really helpful so that players can see easily what each worker is doing. Being able to manage on one easily accessible screen would be a bonus.
(BTW - intuitive, real time, house design is not for everyone and can take a lot of in game days to get it right. I went into house design mode in “The Sims” to plan my latest house before starting to build it. A quick sketch, with area measurements, of the resulting floor plans made it simple to build my house in modules and get the finished house right first time in “HavenCraft”.)
