Beds placed on first floor can be reached for sleeping, but, workers cannot find a path down. One actually exited by the window but is now stuck on the porch roof. My character has full access.

I know you said you’re not currently playing, but when you are again, I think I’d need a pic or a game save with that situation.
Otherwise, I’m not sure what’s happening. Typically, they can reach the first floor. Maybe the roof is too low, blocking access to the staircase?
