Great to see daisies in the grass. Thank you. I look forward to seeing more flowers sometime in the future.
The pause time function is a bit flakey, Sometimes it works, sometimes not and it can even get stuck in the “On” position which is great for getting ahead but a bit of a problem to toggle off. I reset the key bindings to get the game going again. Actually, this is a “cheat” mode. I know some players love cheats so it needs attention to work smoothly, or, perhaps removing; I am really not sure.
Your head filling the screen when trying to place roofs is a little frustrating but overcome by repositioning character.
A real problem is the way the potential villagers wonder off while you speak to them, Frequently this results in their text bubbles moving off screen or truncated by the screen edge. The bubbles also jump around all over the screen. It would be better, imo, if possible, to pause the game while in conversation or to have a fixed dialogue box centre bottom of screen as in “Oblivion GOTY edition” for example.
Um, I have a really bad habit of looking for exploits and using them! Oh boy! is there one first day if in the tutorial mode. Just keep on developing, researching, building as long as you like before sleeping. Ignore the “You need to sleep” instruction and have a three star home to welcome your first villager. Whoops, this kills challenge. (Don’t you dare change it
I will have to work harder at the start if you do!)
Forage goods still spread all over the map rather than being efficiently collected.
Wooden roofs do not mesh properly with the walls so there is a gap left between roof and walls. Perhaps this is deliberate. For me, personally, I choose to jump directly from the pretty and practical thatch roofs to tiles. BTW, will thatched roofs (and torches for that matter) become a fire hazard in the future?
I love the extension to the research tree though I have not yet explored it fully.
Will we eventually be able to research hipped roof pieces? These would make building attractive and varied cottages much easier, Also gable end pieces would be lovely, A full roof piece is too large for realistic roof building.
I love the addition of uses for fibre. Too much is still gathered so the rubbish bin is very useful. Further to this, if I accidently make too much of a crafted item I will not be likely to use in the future it would be nice if there was a way of salvaging some materials rather than just binning them.
Buffs from food consumption by character is great, thanks.
