In the latest update, the developers added a new need called “fun.” I was wondering if there’s any way to disable it, as it’s really bothersome for me. Or perhaps, is it something they plan to patch in the future?

Then you haven’t played in a while! Fun was only missing in the very first versions and got added in 2019 or 2020 some time.
You could check out the mods on Steam, some of them rebalance the game.
