Adding the concrete road after the habitat, in a quite inclined terrain, earns me that strange driveway. Just touching the habitat with the move tool afterward will render it correctly.
The habitat is not oriented towards the road in the screenshot. We could forbid side roads in that case or automatically rotate the habitat, but many players also enjoy the freedom of rotating their buildings as they see fit.
