I would love to see your towns!
You can get into photo mode with F4.
Also, feel free to upload your save if you have something cool and want others to be able to check it out live!

It’s not pretty (yet), but getting there step by step. I’m sure devs are curious, so I’ll just post it anyway After 2-2.5 hours playtime, I have 3 villagers.
2 of them just moved into a more spacious home that also has a table and some chairs. The one on the very left. Next step will probably be proper beds for them (and maybe individual bedrooms).
Me and another villager are still living in the starter house (to the right of the other home), which is very small and only contains 2 sleeping spots (it just fits 3 and used to have those). Crafting is still just placed anywhere, because I needed it and was focusing on functionality instead of it looking nice
Behind me are 2 forester zones, one focused on wood, the other on stone.
A peak inside the bigger home (extra as I’m only allowed one pic per post as a new user)
It’s a good start, cool to see!
I think the forum software got a little stricter since we last used this forum much. I increased the pic limits now
Hello ;D
Wow, thats great pictures here, is very long night for me. So I go to bed and tomorow I would play the game .. Hmm .. I love it ;D
Sorry for my very bad englisch, I comes from germany ;D
Cheers

Getting there
The wooden house on the left is the home of 4 (soon to be 5) villagers, the stone building on the right is a workshop (forge + crafting table inside, furnace outside).
Not sure if I’ll extend this workshop later or make another building or buildings for the woodworking, stonemason and inventor. The crafting might then also move out of this “metalworking workshop”. Probably more buildings.
The villagers also need some more space, their bedroom is pretty crammed right now, with the stairs to the top level being right beside another bed and the bookshelf basically only reachable from that one bed At least they have a roof over their heads…
Cool start, I hope the beds work out with the bed assignment view on the map.
Haven’t thought of handling that possibility
Yeah… not quite, sorry. I was gonna make a bug report about that later. They’re basically all on top of each other, so I can’t assign them all.
Alright, noted it down, thanks
Good evening, I would like to know the trick for the roofs…because when I put the sides, either the walls stick out, or I remove the walls and I have triangular holes😓
Yes, the trick is to “drag” the wall with the mouse.
Look at the video at the bottom of this post:
Devlog 3 also has some videos about dragging, hope it helps
Oh, thank you so much!
I thought I’d read the entire forum
I’m going to try it right away!
I built (part of) a castle recently, pretty happy with the foundations
(the shadows come from a special lighting mode via F3 → lights → enable + render)
I’m loving it, especially the stone houses and the center plaza!
