I built an outdoor terrace for my villagers attached to the inn. Unfortunately, it doesn’t count. It would be nice if that were possible.
Noted.
We have to be careful here, if we don’t give any benefit for furniture being indoors, the most efficient build would be putting everything on a field with no house.
But we’ll think about how to handle the rules here in a good way.

I agree.
Would be nice to be able to decorate some open areas like these. ![]()
I think one thing that could work is to check for the other parts of the building first.
If there already is a roof, windows and some indoor furniture,
then you can unlock and decorate the outdoor area for the same building.
Maybe even check for the fence or make the fence part of the necessary outdoor decoration. ![]()
It is always funny to see how hard you devs have to work to prevent a strange meta like this. ![]()
Good to know you are already thinking about this possibility. ![]()
Well, my thinking was you always can decorate it outside, it’s just the questions whether you get points for it or not.
Maybe a good solution is if indoors you get 3x points or something. Then it’s beneficial to build some indoors, but you still get points for the outside ones, too.
Looks great though!
