I’ve changed a few key bindings that have helped improve my experience, so I’m sharing.
Zoom In/Out, changed from Page Up/Down to Z and X. Much easier to do than page up/down defaults in my opinion.
Rotate, changed from middle mouse button to R. Maybe its because my mouse’s middle button kinda sucks, but I like holding down R and moving the mouse up and down to rotate. In order to do this, I had to rebind [R]esearch to U.
Delete, changed from Delete to B. This is to match the Bulldozer from Cities Skylines 
, much more convenient to use with left hand while playing.
