Idle colonists

Hi Everyone,

I would like to report a bug or at least to understand if the behavior of the colonists that I observe is intended.
I grew my colony from the beginning up to 6 ppl. Everything run smooth i.e., the colonist executed all their job-related tasks automatically (e.g., the forester automatically cuts trees, feeds himself, go to bed and repeat.)
I accepted the 7th colonist, created a second building and moved the bedrooms in the new building.
After these 3 events the colonists just stopped any automated job-related task.
When I order to execute a task they start working and they continue no-stop until they get burned-out.
After I order to go to sleep, they wake up when the stamina bar is max (as intended, I guess) and they stand on the bed idling.
Is this a bug?

Is it possible you have the combat mode turned on? This sounds exactly what happened to me once, when I had it still turned on after a battle.

If background portrait is yellow you are in combat mode (sword icon)

No problem! Like I said, I’ve had the problem before myself. Took me quite a while to figure out on my own, with many, many frustrations along the way.
