i made a new world and within 10 minuets all the sheep died, about 20 sheep across the map all went unconscious and died, think its a bug?

That was a bug which I already fixed. Restart Steam if the update hasn’t triggered automatically yet.
If it says Alpha 13.0.2 in the lower left corner of the main menu, you have the fix.
The update will not revive any sheep, but will prevent sheep from dying when you start a new game.

Can they eat the sheep meat? do yo think we will get chickens? they do need proteins heheh. Lovely update
