The cost of a gondola is very deceptive, It shows the building cost is 500 steel, but when you put it on the map the cost soars to 2000 steel. But… there has been a bug in the system since day 1 that you can’t move a building on top of another, but you can build it on top of another structure from scratch… So, build the first gondola somewhere “legal” and then build the second somewhere where is shows up as red (like a road, etc). The game will allow this. Then move it afterwards to where you need it the cost will only be 500 steel, not 2000. Use it while it last, it will probably be fixed at some point in the next year.
